Terms of use
Last updated 12 September 2026
Only the English Terms of use, Privacy Policy, and Disclaimer are legally binding. Other languages on this site are loose translations for convenience and are not legal text.
Agreement
These terms of use apply to the Involex website, enquiry form, hosted company workspace, CA portal, and related software (together, the “service”). By sending an enquiry, creating or using an account, or accessing a workspace, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent.
Language
These terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer are issued in English. Pages in other languages are loose translations for convenience only and are not legal text. If a translation differs, the English version is the only legally binding version.
The service
Involex is hosted billing software for one Indian business per plan. It helps you prepare invoices and related commercial documents, keep catalogue and stock records where enabled, follow receivables and payables, and produce working reports you can share with your team and advisers.
An enquiry is a request for us to discuss set-up. A paid subscription starts only when we confirm a workspace and commercial terms with you.
Hosted workspace
Standard onboarding is a hosted workspace we provision for your company. Operational records for that business are stored in that workspace. Self-hosted or on-premise arrangements are only where we agree separately in writing.
Fees and commercial terms
Published prices are ₹4,000 per month or ₹40,000 per year for one business, unless we quote otherwise. Yearly billing is a prepaid year. Any tax on our fee will appear on our invoice to you. Fees are for access to the hosted software and related set-up for the billing period agreed.
An enquiry does not create a paid subscription. Once we confirm a workspace and a paid period has begun, the fee is applied to that period. Terms governing plan cancellations, grace periods, and eligible refund scenarios are detailed in our Refund Policy and Cancellation Policy.
Digital Delivery and Provisioning
The service is delivered 100% digitally over the internet. Cloud workspaces are provisioned upon payment confirmation, and desktop software licenses are generated electronically without physical transit, as set out in our Shipping & Digital Delivery Policy.
Grievance Redressal Mechanism
In accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the DPDP Act, 2023, user grievances, compliance matters, and data subject requests are managed by our designated Grievance Officer (Email: [email protected]).
Modules
Documents, inventory, reports, and ledger can be configured per business. What you see in a live workspace is what has been enabled for that company. Marketing pages describe the product generally. Features that are not enabled, or that depend on a third-party portal, are outside the service for that workspace.
How the software is meant to be used
Involex is a software workspace. It is not a substitute for a chartered accountant, tax practitioner, GST Suvidha Provider, filing portal, or other professional. Working summaries and document layouts are generated from information and settings in your workspace. Filings, registrations, notices, payments to authorities, e-invoicing, e-way bills, and similar steps are arranged by you in the ordinary course of business, including with your advisers where you wish.
Outputs, figures, and GST
Totals, tax splits (including CGST, SGST, and IGST), HSN/SAC treatment, place of supply, stock, ageing, allocations, rounding, and similar amounts shown in the service are produced by the software from the data, rates, and settings recorded in your workspace. In the ordinary course of business you review those outputs with your team and, where appropriate, your CA before you rely on them for billing, payment, filing, or any other purpose.
The service does not independently certify that any figure, document, or report matches a particular statutory, commercial, or accounting outcome, or that GST or other tax positions are complete. Changes in law, portal rules, or your master data can affect what appears on screen. Those matters remain part of how you run the business.
Like other hosted software, figures, documents, lists, and reports reflect the current state of your workspace and the software as then running. Differences from a manual check, another system, a GST portal, a printed copy, or a later period can arise. Those differences are treated as part of ordinary use and are addressed through review, export, and your advisers in the ordinary course.
Your records
You control what is entered, edited, voided, imported, shared, or removed. Numbering, filters, user permissions, and modules can affect what is visible. Keep copies of records you may need; export is available in the product. Restoration of a particular invoice, file, or report in every circumstance is not part of the standard service.
Information in the workspace
Workspace information is stored so the product can operate. Like other hosted applications, confidentiality depends on operational measures, the providers used to run the service, and how sign-in details, devices, share links, and invitations are handled in your organisation. Staff, invited CAs, and anyone you give a link to may see what you have allowed them to see.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, unauthorised access, disclosure, loss, corruption, or unavailability of information is addressed only under the warranty and limitation of liability in these terms.
Availability and operation
We aim to keep the hosted service available and to act with reasonable care. Like other software and internet services, access, performance, continuity, and behaviour can vary — including during maintenance, hosting or network events, browser or device differences, imports, printing, unusual load, and unexpected software behaviour. There is no service-level commitment unless we agree one in writing. You may export records for your own files.
Support
Where something in a workspace does not look as expected, you may write to us in the ordinary course. We may investigate and, where practical, assist. That assistance does not create a separate warranty, a right to a refund, or an obligation to reconstruct a particular record, filing, tax position, or commercial outcome.
Accounts
Keep sign-in details confidential and use the service only for your authorised business. Actions taken with a valid sign-in or an invited account are treated as yours. We may suspend a workspace for non-payment, misuse, or where we reasonably consider it necessary for the integrity of the service.
CA access
Reporting access for a chartered accountant starts after an owner invite and approval. Inviting an adviser does not change these terms and does not make Involex a party to your professional relationship with them.
Third parties
Hosting, email, browsers, payment channels, GST or other portals, Tally or CSV files, and similar tools sit outside Involex. Delay, error, or interruption in those channels is handled in the ordinary course with the relevant provider. Share links and exports follow whoever you send them to.
Warranty and liability
The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not give additional warranties as to uninterrupted or error-free operation, fitness for a particular filing or commercial result, completeness of records, accuracy of any calculation or tax treatment, confidentiality in all circumstances, or that the software will remain unchanged.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability connected with the service — including in connection with outputs, GST or other tax figures, missing or altered documents, information incidents, downtime, or technical behaviour — is limited to the subscription fees you actually paid us for the affected workspace in the thirty (30) days before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, goodwill, data, tax, interest, penalty, or business opportunity, except where applicable law says otherwise.
Your indemnity
You will indemnify Involex against claims, demands, and costs arising from your use of the service, the data you or your users enter, documents you issue, filings or payments you make, invitations you send, or your breach of these terms, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
Events outside ordinary control
We are not required to perform where delay or failure results from events outside ordinary control, including hosting or connectivity incidents, changes by authorities or third-party platforms, or other circumstances a hosted software provider cannot reasonably prevent.
Privacy
How we handle enquiry and workspace information is described in the Privacy Policy.
Changes and law
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page. Continued use after an update is acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in India have exclusive jurisdiction. If a clause cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
